4:14PM i2 Tech beats by three cents (ITWO) 1.38 +0.08: Reports Q2 (Jun) loss of $0.18 per share, $0.03 better than the Multex consensus of ($0.21); Q2 revs came in at $119.6 mln vs the consensus estimate for revs of $118.4 mln.

-and-

4:12PM Veritas Software meets Q2 est, lowers Q3 guidance below consensus (VRTS) 16.99 -0.31: Reports Q2 pro forma EPS of $0.14, in line with the Multex consensus; revs were $364.7 mln, vs consensus of $360.2 mln. Co expects Q3 pro forma EPS of $0.11-$0.13 and rev to be $350-$370 mln, vs consensus of $0.15 and $372.6 mln.

The mkt likes both of these- vrts was down initially but rising after the call. Itwo saying no deals lost but everything "postponed". Thats what I'm seeing too.

I'll bet sebl follows this same pattern beating the whispers (which are surely very, very bad) later this week.
