The Indian army has withdrawn three strike divisions from the Pakistan border, reducing its war readiness on the border, high-ranking army and government officials said on Tuesday. The army withdrew the three strike divisions a week ago, before a deadly attack by militants on Saturday which killed 28 people in Jammu, the officials told AP on condition of anonymity.
