And, in case anyone missed this important one: Kulicke & Soffa posts wider 3rd-quarter loss SAN FRANCISCO., July 16 (Reuters) - Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc. (NasdaqNM:KLIC - News), a maker of microchip assembly equipment, on Tuesday posted a wider third-quarter loss and said it will continue to reduce head count. "The results for the quarter were ugly," said C. Scott Kulicke, chairman and chief executive, on a conference call with analysts. "Customers are being more conservative in their IT (information technology) investments," he said. In addition, "sales of our most leading edge products" were behind forecasts. biz.yahoo.com
