I go away for a few days and come back to find Shrub has opened his mouth again and the market sinks like the Titanic...when will this guy learn? Also, come back and find that ol' Shrub caught lying again in order to cheat investors of Harken. Shrub, you sign a "lockup letter" promising investors that you will not(Will NOT) sell your Harken shares. And just why do insiders sign such documents...to make investors think that they have insiders commited to a company going forward as a viable company. But Shrub the Crook sign his lockup letter with one stroke of his pen and then turns around and sells his shares...What a Crook We Have in the White House! But just another example of corruption and the current effort to issue tax payers money to religous organization via vouchers and how stupid this is is currently unfolding in Houston, Texas. Seems Shrub and his religious clan got a special program passed here in Texas that allows state education money to be given to Charter Schools...just a fancy term for vouchers. Anyway, there is the good REV. Wilcox that started up one of them chart schools and the state gave him millions of dollars to run this special little red school house. Well lo' and behold the good REV. doesn't have a college degree, but he was paying himself a KOOL $235,000 salary to teach these little chillun's their ABCs. And his wife, well that girl could really type with that high school book learning degree she had and the good REV. was paying her a measly $50,000 salary for her secretarial talents. Did I mention that this man of the cloth had two thugs that acted as his body guards and to keep away those individuals that might not have been dunk in the holly water at the REv. church...the church he used to purchase the school property that he leased back to the chart school.(But seems the good REV. wasn't making his payments so foreclosures were started to take over the shool (Ain't this just grand and we ain't to the good part, yet.) Seems the good REV. was overstating his attendance(state payments are based on number of students) and the state is now asking for a mere $1.3 million to be refunded...but there ain't no money. And just why is this? Seems the good REV. was paying himself another $500 a day to tutor his little children students so they could pass the state assessment test...but lo' and behold the REV. could only spend 1 1/2hours a DAY on this little tutoring effort so where can I sign up for this $333 dollar an hour tutoring job? But that ain't all folks...did I mention that the good REV. calls his little chart school the PREPARED TABLE Chart SChool for little children...and it appears the good REV. had him one of those sweetdarling relationships with a catering company that was to serve his little chilren their lunch. So! If you have 1,500 little chilren to prepare lunch...a quick math task for you RWE that want your voucher programs....HOW many meals should the catering company prepare for 1,500 little chilren? Hint! 1,500 isn't the answer at the good REV.s Prepared TAble Chart school for book learning. Guess again! Hint! 2,000 meals would be a little low, so don't even guess that number. Try 2,500 lunches being charged for 1,500 kids. But all good deeds must come to an end...and it saddens me to tell you that for some strange reason the board of the good REVs little school of book learning has decided that the REV ain't the guy for the task and they is afread of the states asking finally some hard questions about why the chilren ain't learning and the money keeps disapppeering. So what is the logical decision...HELL! Buy out the REV's contract to the tune of (A little drum rollllllll.... $235,000......and put in place his former crony who when asked if she could confirm the amount that was being paid to buy out her bosses contract, she said she could not recall the amount of the buyout, even after examining the buy out document SHE had signed. What a sweet deal...give out tax dollars to the churchs and the good revs and remember...you can't question the lord's work!
