re: MSM6200

Goodluck,

<< Are you sure no one is sampling the chip right now? >>

No I am not, and I hope they are, but Lehman's CC with Schrock, or at last the recap of it rather indicated it would be this quarter as opposed to making it out the door in June on what was indicated to be in the analysts day CC in May an accelerated schedule - sampling early (sic).

<< Their first press release I saw on the subject stated "samples of the radioOne 6200 solution are expected to be available in the third quarter of calendar 2002 ... but why would you call this late as long as they deliver by end of September? >>

You evidently missed the initial press release in March 2001, the FYO1 Q2 earnings release, and the 2001 annual report, all of which stated "Sample shipments of QCT’s MSM6200 and MSM6300 solutions are expected in the first half of calendar 2002."

Now while I fully understand why products like these can sample late. What I don't understand is the press release shenannigans, or calling a product that samples late, "on-time".
