That is a wonderful article. Not everyone can be so accepting, which is too bad. But that made lovely hopeful reading. :-)

Chinu.. It is you bringing up the religion topic, hope you remember this.

You said...." Lorne, in the past, you wondered why I a Hindu support the Muslim religion."....

Actually what I wondered about is why you would say that the muslim/islam religion has nothing to do with recent terrorist events. You would refer to the murderers of Sept.11 as " terrorists " and I would refer to them for what they really are and that is " muslim terrorists "

IMO the muslim terrorist just did what their bible " quran " instructs them to do.

As for the article you posted. Interesting but proves really nothing. There are marriages of mixed religions throughout the world always have been. What I do find interesting is that an article of this kind would be considered news worthy. Wonder if it has anything to do with the muslim - Hindu killings of recent times.

In this article Rashid refers to what he is doing as his job that he is paid to do and that he has been doing for 27 years. Arab muslims living in the state of Israel work for Jews and make a good living. Nothing unusual in what Rashid does.

But it is a pleasant story for a change.
