I welcome MSFT announcing that they will expense options, as long as they use the methods proposed by INTC or KO. It would have NO effect on MSFT's share price. All other factors considered, it would probably cause the stock to go up, just because it's one more thing out in the open.

that would be funny if MSFT announced they would expense only the options given to Bill Gates...... since he doesn't need, get, or want any..... you think the market would laugh if MSFT tried to pull some stunt like that?

more like the market is already too used to MSFT's made up press releases to care......
