OK Terry, sorry I didn't realize that you were tongue in cheek --- your humor is so dry!

Yes, yesterday and the day before were big days for the "boyz", they were certainly hard at work buying stocks and selling gold while Uncle Alan was doing his stuff. I even heard that their High Priestess, Abby Joseph Cohen, pronounced that the Dow is on its way to 12,000+. So, it's likely that the downtrend in stocks and USD will be arrested and may even reverse for a while. Good luck to them.

Frankly, I don't think that world confidence in the US market and the US administration will be restored until the "war against terrorism" and the MidEast debacle is settled one way or another. I don't see how anything can be done about the corrupt corporate governance. Indeed, that's something we always lived with --- but didn't know about. And, it's universal. Nevertheless, we are still left with the problem, "How does one assess the value of the stocks when one can't believe the figures and can't trust the management?" But that's the stockmarket for you. What's new?!

I am aware that DROOY is paying a maiden dividend but wasn't sure about the hedge book being closed.

Good luck with your studies.

Terry, looks like I'm not the only one who has "evidence" of manipulation on Monday's market turnaround.

This guy considers the unusual volume "spikes" to be significant.
