Maybe Supreme Director of the Internal Secret Police? Oh, yeah, we haven't got one of those. Yet.

I think he has Presidential wet dreams. I think he perceives himself as the logical political leader of the religious right, and I think he believes, or at least hopes, that this might someday propel him to a serious candidacy.

I think that's in the fantasy nightmare category, and I can't imagine it happening, but that doesn't mean he's not thinking of it.

IMO, we need biometric ID cards (with strict limitations on what information they may provide). We also need to make some hard choices re illegal immigration.

With reluctance and a heavy heart, I agree that those things may be necessary.
