I didn't take your remarks as "smart." I was being a wise-ass. I won't admit the downward trend is broken until I see higher highs and higher lows. It's been quite a while. That has happened for a few of the tech stocks, but the markets as a whole are still in strong down trends. It is almost impossible for any stock to buck this kind of market trend for more than a little while. I've been out of the market for several months. I expected things to drift downward through October with minor rallies here and there. I didn't expect the plunge we have been seeing. I still expect a rally, but I think the markets will ultimately go 10%-20% lower. The end will come when the big boys (institutional investors) have to raise cash. Who will they sell to?
