The "Conductor Silhouette" from Harlem Song is a photo I am certian I've seen elsewhere but can't pin it down (or do I have a bad case of deja vu)

It's a case of deja vu. The play is about the history of Harlem and its famous people and places. The actor in the photo is playing Duke Ellington, striking Duke's familiar pose, that's why it rang a bell. I'm glad it made you think you'd seen it before, means I did my job right. (g)

I'm looking at the D-60

A couple of days ago, while on the subway, I sat across from a guy who pulled out a Canon D-60 and started reviewing his stored images on the LCD. I introduced myself, and asked him how he likes it. A string of expletives followed. He said he also had the D-30, shoots celebrity photos (paparazzi?) and the shutter lag on both the D-30 and the D-60 drives him nuts. He wasn't kidding. Rarely have I seen a more frustrated photographer!
