Albert, I have always claimed that the Palestinians do not want peace unless it includes the expulsion of the Jews from Israel, and all of the lands they won in wars against them. For Arafat to demand that one of the most sacred shrines of Judaism be taken from them, and outlaw one of their most important ceremonies, is a clear indication that he does not want to negotiate in a reasonable matter. It is much like sticking a pin into the side of a tiger. It can only lead to violence.

The "so called" Palestinians have been rooted out of other Islamic nations, and put in the area of Israel as a thorn in the sides of the Jews. That is no indication of a desire for peace. At this point, I think we are talking more about politics than religion, but the friction between the two religions is responsible for some of the politics. "Tis a tangled web.
