Gore and many others did not have the benefit of seeing Bush work (or more accurately play around) in Texas. The party likes to make big lies that Bush did well for Texas as governor and then hide the paperwork. The latest fiasco that is just coming to light was his work to change the endowment for the University of Texas (UTimco). The net effect is that his oil buddies could loot what used to be a bigger endowment than Harvard's and leave the Texas students to pay much higher fees than ever before. TP
