Dave, I took some profits in ACF yesterday and looking at buying back in. I think the shorts are manipulating it again and Herb probably has another issue coming out to help the hedge funds pound it again.

If you recall a couple of months ago ESST short interest (we learned after the fact) increased from 7M to 12M in one month and THEN Herb comes out with a question as to whether they can sustain growth, etc. That month the hedge funds pushed it to 16 M following his article. Right now there seems to be some older support around 17.50 so I'm waiting to see if it holds. A year or two ago when it was hammered down to 14 area from 60, I bought some at 15 and it ran to nearly 40 again. Funny how the earnings have never declined during the short attacks. Just shows how easily stocks can be manipulated for the greedy by misleading statements.

My bigger concern is that we don't go red again in the DOW today as we need to stop the bleeding. At least we can see the shorts gulp now and then with the open this morning. A few more good earnings would be a big help.
