Now to anyone watching then, the corporate shenanigans coming to light now are no great surprise. You could smell the books cooking anywhere in the country.

But if a guy claims to have created a wild bout of irrational exuberance (to borrow a phrase from a party who actually is guilty) like that, is it not fair that he should share in the blame when the criminal dealings come to light? Greed wasn't in yesterday, you know.
