I'm JC! (Not THAT JC). Not to worry, I did the same to karen the other day.

I think the the key phrase in the Declaration about the Creator is: "We hold these Truths to be Self-evident"

That explains why it was not necessary to sprinkle the Constitution with positive affirmations about a Creator.
