I think gap fill and rally is ST bullish. Going straight up is not what bulls would want. Rally drop and rally seems a better spot. My guess is this is a ST trade opp here. I am however sitting out.

I note that the put call DROPPED during that miserable decline over the last hour. Buy the bottom.

I agree with MM that it's better to fill the gap and rally, but the S+P undercut yesterday's low by a few points there. There doesn't seem to me to be any support until your 1974 up channel (technically, that's the S+P's channel, but your chart <g>). I don't think that's bullish. That said, the naz is holding tough, and even a few financials are joining in this bounce after some earlier tough love. Definitely a wild market.
