It appears that the guy that then governor Bush Jr appointed to UTimco to "privitize" the assets was none other than Tom Hicks, the very same guy who bought Bush's stake in the Texas Rangers thereby makeing him a multimillionaire. Talk about quid-pro-quo. Those Bush buddies are thick as theives. TP (I'm sure that none of my loyal readers will be surpised to learn that a major recipient of the former endowment for the University of Texas was the Carlyle Group.
