From the 10Q of the recent quarter for MSFT and AAPL.

AAPL's gross margin is around 27%

MSFT's gross margin is around 81%

That's a big difference and accounts for the difference in P/S.

So the market only gives aPPle software, hardware, and lets not forget it's innovation qualities 30% + 70% cash per share = 100% share price. IMO, aPPle should spinoff the 70% share price back to the poor aPPle shareholders and give "The Woz" one of the technical founders the control of the company. Oh they are so cute looking, I will and millions more like me will take MSFT/Intel/AMD performance and price any day.

<<actually AAPL has incredible margins too, especially compared to other box makers..... averaging about 30%, which is unheard of for a box maker, or just about any other retail consumer hightech and large product...

probably why 70% of its stock price can be found all in actual cash per share.....>>
