One of my rules (which I always break) is not to enter any new trades between 11-2, because the mid-day whips will kill profits faster than I can make them between 9-11. In fact, at the end of each day, I divide my trade sheet into three sections: Morning (9-11), Mid-Day (11-2), and Afternoon (2-4) and evaluate performance for each timeframe. On good days, there are NO trades in the Mid-Day section. I also usually find that my best results are in the 9-11 period.

Forgot that rule, today. Had two trades between 1-2PM and both were profitable. The whipsaws after 2 are where I lost.
