Pretty cynical statement. And IMHO not a correct one either.

Are you saying that, the previous Administration's use of the U.S. Military (at times curiously corresponding to elections or when the President was in trouble) was merely to deflect domestic trouble...and that the current Administration is doing the same? :o)
