What a strategy: get an idiot puppet in as president, then viciously pass every pathologically fascist measure your spooks have been dreaming up for 30 years. Your puppet won't flinch.

The only solution is git 'em all outta there, somehow.

Otherwise we're due for a much quicker conversion to the completed police state than anyone imagined (except the think tank spooks, of course... we're probably right on schedule there)
