Another idea - deep value stocks that reorganized out of chapter 11..

sometimes hard to spot but real winner can lurk here. Especially the "ASBESTOS" lawyer enriching procedures (via the US tort system) are going to produce EXCELLENT companies once they are reorganized and out of Ch11. Want names ? Federal Mogul, Armstrong world, US Gypsum. Usually the greedy lawyers sell their stocks from reorganization as soon as they can. Those stocks tend to tank on this selling only to climb fast and nice afterwards. I made quick 40% this spring with RAY (Raytech). If I waited longer I could have more than a double...

Non-Asbestos reorganized firms are also somtimes very nice. Now HMOs and even some manufacturers are rising off the chapter11 pipeline in their reorgs. Sometimes you can get deep value here .. Price/Book at 0.25 and decent revenue and Prcice/Sales ratios. I last week bought IPSU.OB that's the reorganized stock of Imperial Sugar. It'S a bellwether, deleveraging its balance sheet, Lehman owns 34% post chapter11 and it has >$600m in annual revenues. It got Price/Book at 0.24 and Price/Sales at 0.08.. That's value..
