i respect Tom Siebel A LOT; he's built a really great company and as people here have noted he really doesn't bull-sh8t. i think his game is that he knows he's in WAY better shape than all of his competitors, so he's trying hard to talk them down so that he's the last man standing when all this clears. i can't even express how badly he's kicking everybody's ass (including Oracle) in his core markets; unfortunately for him his core markets just SUCK right now.
