What happened to Gadaffi was that Reagan bombed his house, killed his son, and made terrorism no longer a game for him.

As long as terrorists feel that their families are safe, they will likely continue. Even worse is the Palestinian situation, where the families of terrorists become wealthy.

Since WWII, the military has been conjuring up one fake security threat after another. Gaddafi was the poster child of that campaign.

On the other hand, anyone who can't figure out how to spell his name should be shot immediately. -g-
