Exactly so. I'm leaning towards a constitutional amendment
requiring that candidates not run, but be recruited, for high office. No disrespect, but they shouldn't be lawyers. They should have accomplished something noteworthy outside of government. They should not want the job. The people should demand that they run over their objections.
