What is happening "rapidly" that we should, in your mind, be concerned about? This country does not need to be defended against those who wish to live free as we do, but rather against those who hate the openness and freedom that we enjoy. That includes terrorists like bin Laden and neo-nazis like crawford. Where would you be today if crawford's comrades shut the door before you rather than trying to after?

mr buschman makes the ridiculous argument that since most americans immigrated to america, we should have wide open borders and allow anyone who wants to immigrate to america to come at any time. i guess that would include osama bin laden. if america was to open her borders wide open and remove all barriers and restrictions, tens of millions of people would flood into the country en masse. do you really think we could handle tens of millions of people pouring into our country all at once? of course not. so the argument becomes where should we draw the line? we can't have everyone just waltz right in, but it would be just as extreme to have none come in. anyone who believes we should severely restrict immigration into this country after having just experienced 35 years of the largest flood of immigrants in our entire history, is somehow a racist, nativist, xenophobe who wants to round up all foreign looking people to ship out. this is the demagoguery used by pathetic and filthy liberals who can't argue their points based on merit. it is also no secret why jews tend to heavily favor open borders and mass immigration. whether through fault or no fault of their own, jews have been persecuted throughout history. they realize that the single greatest threat to their heritage and survival as a distinct people are nations who are ethnically pure and therefore have much solidarity. germany for example, displayed great solidarity, unity and purpose in the years leading up to the second world war. the jews have figured out (or have long known), that if you have a great number of different nationalities in a country, no one single group can have enough power to challenge jewish supremacism. if you have the whites not getting along with the blacks, and the christians not getting along with the muslims and arabs, women opposed to men, blacks not liking latinos, homosexuals not liked by anybody but pandering liberals, etc., no one will get along and everyone will just squabble amongst themselves. there will be no unity or common purpose, and the jews (who are very ethnocentric and do band together as no other people have) will automatically rise to the top. of course the rank hypocrisy is there if you just think about it for a moment. many prominent jews in america implore america to open its borders to the poor huddled masses, all the while actively and openly supporting the jewish state (israel) which won't even let palestinian refugees who have had ancestors for thousands of years return to what is now called israel! israel for all practical purposes closes off immigration to all except jews. if open borders are so good for a 'democracy' like america, how come open borders are not allowed for israel? of course there are many other hypocrisies to be found with jews supporting one standard of conduct for america, but an entirely different standard for israel. of course you won't hear about those hypocrisies in the mainstream media. all you hear from them is that israel is a 'democracy' like the united states so we should automatically support them because arabs don't believe in democracy. well israel is not a democracy if you're a palestinian! israel doesn't allow aliens to come pouring in by the millions into their country! they wisely know that it threatens their security! but apparently america doesn't share the same right to defend her security!
