Dear Mr Coyote,

I guess my main point is that you don't NEED to assume that this patent is the basis for what TI is doing. They could be saying the same things based merely on a plan for adding extra metal layers—same thing that Fujitsu is doing.

I'll be the judge of Owlish needs around here. IF you don't mind. Besides I don't have the slightest clue as to what you are talking about Wily. <vbg>

I hope I haven't given you the impression that I know the first thing about "adding metal layers" or anything approaching an understanding of the design and process implications of THE TI Patent or anyone else's. I can't even accurately or consistently convert MB's to Mb's, let alone "read on" a semiconductor patent claim.

All I do is sample the breeze. I take the misconstruings of the disabled industry media and company comments, then I look for relationships and trends in the details which present some logical connection between what is being said and what is being done. If out of this mess I can detect the "story lines" of a "credible plot;" if I see "dots;" I must connect them. If they make for a good flick I go into production.

Sure, there will be many flops at Owlish Brothers Studios. Most of these flicks never even get to the BIG Screen. But every now and then, our "NEED" for an Oscar winning smash will be fully filled.

If this isn't proven to be The Best Big Picture of 2003, I promise you now, the OBS will be sold to Viacom for whatever I can get. But if it is half the critically acclaimed box office smash I think it is, we will just have to meet at the Awards Show and argue about the whys and the hows. <Hoo Hoo>
