Thomas,

Sometime you should try plopping yourself down in a hostile foreign country, and have a few dozen teenage boys throw rocks at your head. Be interesting to see your reaction.

It's Z magazine that is an unreliable source. It and the associated South End Press is just than a Marxist anti-American Chomskyite propaganda mill. What you get from them is dictated by their discredited political idealogy.

Some info about one of the editors and founders:
zmag.org
Michael Albert, longtime activist, speaker, and writer, is editor of ZNet, and co-editor and co-founder of Z Magazine. He also co-founded South End Press and has written numerous books and articles. He developed along with Robin Hahnel the economic vision called Participatory Economics. Participatory Economics is a vision that challenges the foundations of economic theory. It posits a society run by neither markets nor central planning, neither competition nor control, instead a society based on participatory planning and sharing.
