John, Re your comment: ...Dell support also makes no mention of the fact that once the tech replaces a drive, all you have is a virgin machine with no software loaded.... Since when are computers virgins? If you listen to Bear Stearns all computers are whores and the CEOs that run the companies are pimps. Dell took #1 in service in Japan. So, if Dell's service is bad, and they continue to make money, that must mean the competition's service is nonexistent, and they lose money. Would you rather live with a whore who pays at least some attention to you, or a virgin who shuns you all the time?
