Yes, the possibility does exist

I'm not blind. He could be totally telling the truth, totally lying or somewhere in the middle. I'm just saying the possibility exists. I've seen police cases where they get one guy to lie and admit they he saw a guy commit a bunch of crimes just so he can get off on other charges. You have to admit that possibility exists as well.
If you look at the guy's rap sheet, I'd say that's possible. With petty priors like that and no money for good legal aid, perhaps even a sly fbi guy saying that tony rolled/made up stuff about him, I could see a plea bargain as a likely option and I could definitely see him making up stuff just to get a better deal. "Sure, mr. fbi guy, if you want me to say that tony kicked babies and stole money from little old ladies while wearing a dress, I'll say that. Just tell me where to sign.
