After a bubble you get deflation - simple there is just too much capacity:

Too much fiber, too much chips, too much of everything.
Capacity Utilisation is ~75% and falling - an 18 or 20 yr low

look at Japan - you can print as much as you want but when there is no final demand then no-one will buy.
forget eco 101, the excess capacity has to go
