Given that there IS no Cheney/Haliburton "scandal", except the one fabricated by the Daschlegephardt left-who are now officially on record as desperately hoping AND WORKING toward economic calamity, so they "can pick up 40 House seats"-the president's prediction that it will all fizzle at the SEC is actually an understatement. In actuality, the SEC will find that Haliburton's accounting change was conservative, and in the interest of shareholders. This whole matter is typical of the kind of flim-flam the American left has been taking shots with since Watergate...

Time to bring back "Harry and Louise" for 2002, looking worried over their 401k statements, and saying to each other: "And Congressman Gephardt wants the markets to be even WORSE, so he and his tax-and-spend pals can win House seats. The House member from OUR district, [loop in name] consistently votes to SUPPORT Congressman Gephardt and his obstructionist partners in the Senate.
