>>I caught candle pin bowling out of Canada on the dish a couple of times.<<

I have a story about candle pin bowling. Back in the early 70's, the family was vacationing at Lake Winnepesaukee in New Hampshire. We decided to go bowling one evening, and learned that candle pin bowling was the local variation. I am winging away, when I hit a couple of the fallen pins. My ball jumps up in the air, crosses into the next lane, and knocks over several pins.

I apologized, and tried to hide under the seat. Worse yet, the counter guy comes runninng down and asks me to take it easy since there is a league in the next lane (the one in which I have just scored). I haven't been back to New Hampshire since(;>)
