I heard that CSCO putting pricing pressure on PMCS. How is this possible, when PMCS supposedly has such far-advanced technology over its competitors?

VTSS abandoned one of their development projects because they could not see the market supporting the cost. My question is: would 100 shares of vtss at 1.25 be a better buy than 1 option on pmcs ,Jan 2005, 25 strike at 1.95? I think vtss buy and option sell might constitute an excellent hedge position.
