Be all you can be
The muslim countries of the world, including PakiSatan, acknowledge that in India, any Indian can become the President: religion, caste, color, ethnic origin etc are no bars as long as he or she is a native-born Indian. We had representation from Brahmins, Muslims, and Dalits in the office of the Presidency. They were elected for their service to the country and there was no other requirement. That speaks volumes about the democratic values of India and its people. It also speaks of the faith that India has in its sons and daughters of disparate origins from different religions, castes and creeds. It is an all-inclusive democracy. It is a country where a Dalit, a Muslim or a Brahmin can go through the educational system, make contributions to the country, transcend the pettiness of the bigots and become all they can be.
