Ok, bookmarked the thread ... good post on Henstridge - #reply-17785247 ... that's about how i remember it from looking into pvo.v when you were talking about it before, when they were getting their treasury raided during the dot.com era ..... for the nostalgia of it here is a bit typed in from Kaiser's BFR of Dec '97 -

' Peruvian Gold managed to load its
treasury in late 1996 with a private
placement of 3 million units at $4.50 just
before the El Encanto prospect turned into
a dud; since then David Henstridge has
been killing off Peruvian's prospects; the
exception is the Lara copper oxide deposit
in Peru; institutional dumping helped a
predator headed by Bob Atkinson
accumulate 2 million shares; Henstridge
has until next AGM to produce a discovery
before the cash shifts into the vanishing
zone; only defence is to acquire a hot
project and produce a discovery hole. '

... and we know that didn't happen ... no great fault to Henstridge, he did what he could, it was an uphill battle during the metals bear .... the thing to watch with Tumi now will be the financings - on what terms are they done, and who takes them down .... i'll get into the sedars later ..... as for the fifteen hundred dollar info at the U of Arizona, pass me half of that and i'll hitchhike down there and microfilm it, visit some friends along the way -g-

Cinco Minas caught my eye in a headline on BNAmericas.com:

Analyst: Cinco Minas has "blue sky" potential - Mexico Since I do not subscribe to that site, all I had was the headline. I spent hours searching and found next to nothing and nothing in English.

I visited Tumi website and sent an email asking if they had a copy of the article and within hours received the following reply:

No, we do not have the article referred to in your e-mail, are you looking for it? It will probably be based on our press release on Cinco Minas as it is the only information given to the market.
Regards David Henstridge

Nice to have a quick reply and from the president to boot.

I found one article and used the Gist translator (Cinco Minas translates to Five Mines). Not even worth reading.
