Al, as part of my planned [now abandoned] idea of bidding for spectrum and building a CDMA network in NZ, son Tarken did a model of the money ins and outs and debt was great to have! The more the merrier, provided of course that the cash flows matched the expenses and no oops-a-daisy cash flow crunch occurred a few years down the track.

If Leap gets customers fast enough, they should make obscene amounts of profit. The current creditor valuations are that they will fail. But if they don't, what a lot of fun it will be. No, I do not own either debt or shares of Leap.
