The subject is leaning on an opened grand piano, quite small in comparison to the shape of the opened piano cover which fills most of the frame. Know which one I'm thinking of? Man oh man, memory just will not cooperate today!

Got that part right. But it's a portrait by Arnold Newman. Doh!

Don't know why I get Newman and Karsh mixed up. Their styles are completely different. And it's Newman that's considered The King of "environmental" portraiture, not Karsh.

I'm losing it! But that's not news. (g)
