Jay, it's The Matrix of Malevolence versus the Harmony of Happiness [aka Greater Good = GG]

<It occurs to me that we are in a struggle between, well, to be succinct, good and evil. No compromises are possible. Either one is with the clan that encapsulates wealth in valued Aztec things, useable as cash, or with the tribe that prints ever more fiat derivatives of wealth, dispensed by cheating counter-parties. >

I'm betting on the good guys! It's important to realize that the line between good and evil runs right through the middle of each person's heart. So it's a slippery line; a superstring of an ethereal nature. As you've described the conflict, yes, cheating counterparties and profligate printers for self-gain are malevolent. But they are shadows of the real thing.

Go GG!

Mqurice

PS: I should warn you that we have It on our side ['our' being the GG].

I am going for a walk [in 3D] and will watch out for gold on my way. Bye... or, as they say, later....

The TS Elliot's Strawmen come to my mind ...
This is the way the world ends,
not with a bang, but with a whimper

IOW, no Armaggedon, just POS hitting the fan and spreading through stratosphere across the globe.
