Good question.

I believe this is not the case since Inventories were relatively flat for several quarters. If AMD "held" their wafers back, I would expect an increase in Inventories.

Since AMD's fab(s) are capable of about $1B in sales per quarter, I believe there was little or no change in AMD's yields. I just believe that AMD's fabs are not running at capacity.

This issue can be further explored when AMD sends out
their 10Q
