The key paragraph in the article you cited is as follows:

"No one yet knows how many of these children will opt for a new school or, more important, whether districts have places to put them."

Michael: One fact you always overlook when sounding off about failing schools and vouchers is that, for the most part, there's nowhere for these kids to go other than their local public school.

If you think that (for the most part) all-white suburban schools are going to open their doors to these kids, you're fooling yourself.

Let's sit back and see how this grand voucher experiment unfolds. My best guess is that this is yet another grand GOP talking point that doesn't translate well in the real world.
