Why is that?

Stocks don't move up 120% and 1200% in a straight line, especially in this environment. Maybe Lucent should be $3 to $4 right now but it is not going to happen overnight with the current carnage on wall street. Fibonacci are retracement lines of the up move.Like 38%, 50% and 62% retracement of the move up. I think the stock could possibly go down to near $1.96 which is its 61.8% fibonacci retracement. Good luck.

Comcast Corporation Names Lucent Technologies as Vendor In Deployment of Voice Over Internet (VoIP) Service
MURRAY HILL, N.J., July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSK - News, CMCSA - News) has named Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU - News) as a vendor to help accelerate deployment of its Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) primary line phone service, the company announced today.

Comcast, which previously announced plans to introduce or offer phone services in the Philadelphia and Detroit areas, plans to use Lucent Technologies VitalAccess(TM) Device Provisioning and Subscriber Management software to remotely configure VoIP services for a subscriber in a matter of minutes, significantly reducing the time spent in IP network management. In addition, customer changes and information updates can be quickly and efficiently communicated, saving Comcast time and money while enabling end-users to manage their services. Comcast currently uses VitalAccess software in the management of its cable modem data service.

"Comcast is on the forefront of Voice over Internet Protocol. The VitalAccess software is a key component in Comcast's VoIP offering, and we're excited about the role we're able to play in facilitating this significant step forward," said Madan Kumar, vice president of the Network Operations Software Group in Lucent Technologies.

An integrated software solution for broadband service providers, the VitalAccess software helps provision and deliver Internet access, multimedia and VoIP to subscribers.

"The Lucent VitalAccess software has been a key component for our successful cable Internet service thus far," said Franklyn Athias, vice president of New Media Development for Comcast. "The VitalAccess subscriber provisioning system has proven its scalability and performance in provisioning a wide variety of customer premises equipment. We're looking to build on this success as we expand our service offerings."

The VitalAccess software integrates flow-through provisioning, a feature that enables the software to receive a subscriber request from an order management system or mediation system, then manage the request to provision elements in the service provider's network. The VitalAccess software supports cable modems complying with the DOCSIS (TM) 1.0/1.1 standard and will support the CableLabs® PacketCable(TM) standard to accelerate deployment of VoIP over cable with Comcast.

The VitalAccess software is part of the Lucent Vital family of products for service providers, which also includes VitalQIP(TM), recently named No. 1 in Internet protocol management software solutions for the third straight year by the analyst firm IDC. <This stock should be between $3 and $4 right now, and headed towards $6, >

lol, you dont know fibonacci, shorting, marginability, but you have the keen ability to 'correctly' value a bloated, poorly managed company in mkt that is trending down.
