Lowtrades.com is an online broker that 'claims' they will have online trading of Canadian stocks for $4.00 per trade 'soon'. I have been waiting, but it hasn't happened yet. Still, i can do broker assisted trades for $25.00. No limits on the shares purchased, limit or market orders are the same price. Orders can remain open until filled. It's the cheapest way i know to buy the very low priced stocks.

I would recommend "Pentrade" but i'm pretty sure they don't service Nevada.

Good luck

Its been discussed many times as not a good way,
but if the Canadian share has a USA trading symbol,
then as i do, i use E*Trade. Seems the bid & ask prices
are very question'able this way, as in you may pay a little
more in commission and spend more time on the telephone
with those brokers that trade directly into Canada using the
Canadian share symbols, but if you obtain the current prices
directly from the Canadian Markets and factor the exchange
rates between dollars, then this will help determine if going
that USA symbol path is ok or not. For me buying 10,000
shares for those under one dollar that i will hold until they
increase in price over 100% causes me no concern if i pay
using E*trade and USA symbols an extra 10% in the buying.
Guess it may be determined by what percentage you wish
to obtain as a return. doug
