I beieve that Jerry has never said that AMD has the best yields in the world; rather, world class yields and given the prior debate I believe he said something like "world class line yields".

Jerry has made many statements, most of them BS. He recently claimed the best yields in the world. As for line yields, he proudly claimed 95% line yields.

There is no need to rub it in.

Dave, I'll back up what Elmer said. I remember that Jerry indeed said "Best yields in the world." Or more like "Best yields on the planet," which made me wonder what planet Jerry was talking about.

It was clearly a misleading statement, made to sound grandiose just for show. There is no point in trying to spin that statement apologetically.
