Cookie Pal 1.7B works fine with XP. IE6's cookie handling is improved but it still can't do what Cookie Pal does and I also use ZA behind a router. Linksys recommends ZA.

I use Norton Firewall. Functionally speaking, I find it the best. But it is a "pig with winds" in being very demanding on computer resources. I think it is responsible for reducing my computer's performance up to 20%. I may end up with the Professional version of Zone Alarm. But I will keep the Norton Antivirus.

Today I hook up my scanner and internal modem. So what are the odds my machine will continue to work after this surgery? ;-)

My last several week bout with my computer problems was indeed a humbling experience.
