If, after all this time, humanity still can't get the knack of buying low and selling high, it may never learn. In no field of investment is the behavior of the species less evolved than in life sciences. During the 1999 genomics craze, no price seemed too high for a share of a biotech company, even for the wrong one. Now, apparently, no price is too low, even for what may prove to be the right one.
