We get possums once in a while. They don't do any damage and we don't mind them.

Our problem is possums... we have them all the time and they seem to co-exist with the cats. They're just cat's with funny looking tails.<g> We have them all the time here too. If you spritz the fence and trees with a solution of vinager, water and cayenne pepper, it'll keep 'em outta your yard plus skunks won't be following their trail to your house.
