Looking back as a walk-on at Northwestern University's football program a year later, I now identify spiritually with Rudy, the Notre Dame walk-on. Spirit lifts and makes sacred all sports! When a team can eliminate the selfish aspect which seeks to rule, claim, control and seek credit, what could look to be an "average" or even a "below average failing" team can be turned around 180 degrees quicker than you can say "Jack Robinson." Northwestern's football program has has a long, long history of these amazing expliots that rest on spiritual energy, power and truth of a team working together as ONE (1). And their Year 2000 game against Michigan will go down as one of THE greatest in collegiate football history. Our family was holed up in a hotel room inside Disneyworld watching the game. As I have done on many, many occasions before I told her under no uncertain terms that Northwestern would win. And then I simply drive around, listen to the birds, bees - or in this case swing from a hammock on the fake "beach" as I could hear my wife and two boys screaming inside the room nearby. I only like to scream and get into it when I'm actually at a real game around real people. And you don't want to be around me when I start routing for Northwestern. Peace and God Bless! 119293!!
