Dow 4000 is just about unfathomable* to everyone I've spoken to about the market the last 2 years (excluding SI perma bears, who, for the most part, have called this thing coming down).....which makes me think that it is about the only thing that will permanently break the Peter Lynch brainwashing psychology since 1982... * Of course, if you would have told anyone in early 2000 that WCOM would be bankrupt, and hosts of "quality" tech like Sun, EMC, Oracle, LU etc. would be trading in single digits (low single digits), that would have been considered equally unfathomable...
